Bart Piech

My name is Bart Piech, and I am a recent graduate from Eugene Lang College at the New School, majoring in Interdisciplinary Science. Science is extremely important to me, and has been throughout my entire life. Not only was this due to my grandmother being a former professor of physics and chemistry, but also because I have always seemed to have an interest in science. In college, I became very interested in microbiology and focused on it, taking classes such as Genes Environment & Behaviour, as well as Microbiome of Urban Spaces, not only because of the focus on science, but also because of the relationship the science had with social issues. This seemed extremely important to me when I was in college, and it is even more important to me now, that I have to use my skills I have learned over the past four years, in a work setting.
